MTD J136 Ride-on Lawn Tractor For spares – repairs – or mower racing (Group 4) My mower is 12 years old and has been regularly serviced. I put it in for a service this month because it was not cutting well and after it was taken apart, I was told it would no longer cut grass unless £500 was spent on a new parts for the whole of the cutting area: the main black metal housing; the plastic liner and fan assembly; a blade; three drive belts; odds and ends. It has been returned unrepaired and in pieces. The Briggs & Stratton engine (OHV 28S777) is fine and ran well until they disconnected the belts etc. The battery was new last summer. Instruction manuals for mower and engine. No grass catcher. There is a roller and a trailer which came with it when I bought it, if you want them. Payment by PayPal on completion of auction. This mower is ideal for repare or spares, I had the mower looked at and have been informed that the “gearbox support bracket” needs replacing, I have the replacement part (Part No. 411012) which is included, just never got around to repairing and have since purchased a new mower.
